Iowa State Student Inspired to Share Her Faith

College can be a wonderful experience for young people. With  clubs to explore and  classes to maintain, it can be easy to lose focus. Not so for Haley Schany, a college student at Iowa State University and retreat leader of the Catholic Student Center at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

"My prayer life changed from wishing to desiring a deeper relationship with Jesus because he loves me... and I made a decision to invite Him into my day. Campus ministry helped me deepen my relationship with the Lord and as a student leader I encourage new students to do the same."

One of Haley's campus ministers is Emily Klaus, a CCMA member and frequent speaker at LAUNCH, the new campus minister training course. Emily's work helped Haley embrace Christ like never before.
