Join us for an enriching series focused on self-care for you! We all know that campus ministry is a demanding ministry. In a small way, we look forward to taking care of you through this series. This series will take place on select Thursdays, featuring expert speakers and engaging topics designed to support your personal and professional well-being. Each session will address a crucial aspect of life as a campus minister.

Thursday, August 29th: Uncover profound insights from the new USCCB document on young adult ministry with Paul Jarzembowski, a renowned authority in the field. Understand the latest approaches and how they can elevate your ministry, directly from the source.
Thursday, September 5th: Explore the Life Cycle of a Campus Minister with Mary Deeley. Gain wisdom on navigating the unique challenges and rewards of a career in campus ministry.
Thursday, October 10th: Speaker Guilherme Lopes will unpack the topic of burnout prevention and recovery. Burnout is a significant risk for those in ministry, where the needs of others can easily overshadow personal care. This session would focus on identifying the signs of burnout and providing strategies to prevent it, as well as recovering if it occurs.
Thursday, November 7th: Prioritize your well-being with Self-Care and Spiritual Direction led by Sr. Mercedes Torres, OP. Discover strategies to maintain your spiritual health amidst your demanding role.
Thursday, December 12th: Enhance your ministry's impact with "Maximizing Your Ministry with Limited Resources" led by Friar Mario Serrano, OFM Conv. Find creative ways to do more with less.

With over ten years of dedicated service to the church, Guilherme Lopes brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project. His two Master's degrees in Criminal Justice and Theological Pastoral Studies, as well as several professional certificates, demonstrate his commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
As the Director of Campus Ministry for Neumann University, G is a respected leader in the field. His dedication to helping young people deepen their faith and live out their values is unmatched, and he brings that same level of commitment to every project he undertakes.

Wednesday, October 16th at 12PM PST // 3PM EST: New Resource to Help Freshmen Cultivate their Faith and Avoid the Pitfalls of Life in College. Navigating College, a resource created by renowned Catholic speaker and author Emily Wilson for women transitioning into adulthood, covers key topics every young woman will encounter during her college journey, topics that need to be addressed and talked about in order to help them begin their college journey feeling confident and prepared to make wise choices, cultivate their faith, and enjoy the experience all along the way.
