Spring Days of Giving: Over $165,000 Raised for Catholic Campus Ministry
Donors across the nation stepped up in a major way to support campus ministry this April 27-28th for CCMA’s inaugural Spring days of Giving! 286 donors from across the country came together to raise $165,301 for 15 participating campus ministries. CCMA provided an online platform through #igivecatholic to help campus ministries raise money for their needs such as retreat programs and even building costs.
This year's top fundraisers included Catholic Campus Ministry Conway Arkansas, Campus Ministry at the University of Missouri and the Catholic Campus Ministry Association.
Top fundraiser Kasey Miller, campus minister at CCM Conway, said, “We participated in the Spring Days of Giving in partnership with CCMA in order to cover the recent increase in construction costs for our new campus ministry center… During the Spring Days of Giving, there were a lot of phone calls and visits to our supporters, inviting them to help secure a sacred space for college students to connect and grow during such a sacred time of life. We also posted video testimonies and encouragements from community partners, staff, students, and alumni. There was just a buzz going around about how much campus ministry changes lives and how the impact can be felt well beyond the walls of the ministry center or the local parish. Without the support and training offered by CCMA, igivecatholic, and Petrus Development, we would not have been able to make this happen.”
Save the date for next year’s giving days, which will take place March 28-29, 2023. We look forward to seeing you then!
