Fall Symposium 2024: Embracing the Spirituality of Administration for Catholic Campus Ministers

VIRTUAL event for campus ministry professionals

Complimentary FOR CCMA MEMBERS

($40 for non-members)

Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, from 1PM to 4:30PM EST (10AM to 1:30PM PST)

The Fall Symposium will be an enriching afternoon focused on the spirituality of administration within Catholic campus ministry. This year's symposium on administration offers a unique opportunity to delve into how spiritual principles can guide and enhance our administrative practices.

Our Emcee, Deacon Charlie Echeverry, will skillfully guide this thoughtful conversation on administration during the fall symposium.

We are thrilled to have Anne Garrido, a distinguished voice in ministry and administration, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Ann Garrido is an associate professor at Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis, Missouri, and author of the Redeeming series for Christian leaders from Ave Maria Press. You can find out more about Ann at anngarrido.com. Anne will share profound insights on integrating faith into administrative roles, followed by a Q&A session.

After a short break, attendees will engage in dynamic breakout sessions, each designed to address specific aspects of administrative excellence through a spiritual lens:

  • Marketing: Christine Sarnow, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at FOCUS

  • Managing and Inspiring a Team: Valerie Villarreal, Product Lead at Cash App. Former employee at Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat.

  • Fundraising: Techniques for creating impactful fundraising initiatives from the ground up. Jamie Cappetta, President at Our Savior Parish and USC Caruso Catholic Center.

This symposium is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of administration through a spiritual perspective and foster a community that leads with faith and purpose. Don't miss this opportunity to grow and connect with fellow Catholic campus ministers dedicated to the spirituality of administration. We look forward to seeing you there!
